AquaConSoil, Europe's largest conference on applied knowlegde of the management of soil-water systems will be held in Barcelona, Spain from 16-19th April 2013.

HOMBRE together with the EU FP7 project TIMBRE will organize a special session there on "Sustainable Brownfield Regeneration - synergies with the land cycle and the role of new tools and technologies (SpS7)" on 17th April 2013, 16.00 - 17.30h, Lecture Hall 6.

HOMBRE will also be presented in the thematic session on "Resource efficiency (E4)" on 18th April 2013, 11.00 - 12.30h, Lecture hall 5.


HOMBRE contributed also several papers and made a number of workshop inputs on:

• Sustainable and green remediation - global update
• Common themes and practice in achieving sustainable remediation worldwide, with case studies and debate
